Saturday 26th October
Scenic Route 100
Montpelier to Albany
After a lovely breakfast in our Airbnb,
we set off down to yet another state, New York, and yet another brand new experience.
We were hoping to visit the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site,
(where he took the oath of office after Pres. Harding died)
but it was closed. Closed....and cold.
Visited the little cheese shop/maker where the Coolidges made cheese.
Don’t tell anyone, but Mark had a pee behind the historic church where
President Calvin Coolidge was married.
Blessed are the cheese makers.

It was a beautiful journey, but there was very few places to eat.
We were starving....
We met a couple at the closed Coolidge Site (the only other people around!)
and they suggested a friendly diner 5 mins up the road.
Yippee. It was perfect.

The journey was beautiful though.
We arrived at our next Airbnb, and popped out for a quick bite to eat at a local ‘Irish Pub’.
Ended up eating very little, and deciding to have a ‘chill out’ day the next day.
After all....the Albany Airbnb was
PHENOMINAL.....
