The Journey
Just chillin’ in the Virgin Clubhouse.
As Mark so rightly pointed out:
“All we’ve got to do today is eat, and sit on our arses. It’s not like we’re flying the bloody plane!”
Just to prove him right, we’ve had breakfast, another cup of tea, and are just ‘squeezing in’ a little nap.
Ah.....the tortures of travel.

Ah.....the tortures of travel.
This isn’t just aircraft food.....this is Virgin Atlantic aircraft food.....
The picture on the left WAS a lovely ‘Citrus Seared Prawn with Watermelon Salsa’
but it was so yummy that I ate it before I could think about taking a photo of it!
The middle picture is ‘Braised Beef with Mash, Honeyed Carrots, and Kale’.
I’ve decided that kale tastes like plastic cabbage.
I’m not a fan.
After browsing through the exciting film and TV selections,
I settled for 4 back to back episodes of ‘Friends’, followed by a bit of a sleep.
Tough day.
We arrived a little earlier than expected, got through US Immigration really quickly, found our taxi really easily, and got into our Boston ‘pad’ with minimal fuss.
And it’s proper lovely - right in the thick of the action in the North End (Italian Quarter).
We ventured out to Benevento’s (already booked a table) for our dinner.
Met the owner ‘Joe’, who wanted to talk music (and more specifically The Eagles) with us.
Really enjoyable. Noisy, busy, bustling, and cracking food.
Cesar Salad and Pizza.
It’s gonna be busy tomorrow, with it being a State holiday, so we’ve rebooked for tomorrow.
Joe said he’ll make sure we get a table.
Sometimes it’s not what you know......
Very tired people. Been up 24 hours. Sleep........
